Athens is vibrant and lively all year round! You can also optionally choose the suggested activities: a private walking tour in central Athens, a private guided tour by an experienced certified tourist guide to the archaeological site of the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum, and a romantic dinner at a gourmet restaurant with magnificent views to the Acropolis hill.

Day 2: Magestic Milos

In the morning you will be transferred to the port of Piraeus to take the boat to the magical island of Milos, the island of Aphrodite, the ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. When you arrive at the port of Milos you will pick up your hire car and drive to your private vila in Triovasalos area. After settling into your vila you have the whole day to explore the island and enjoy its romantic ambience. The Greek Island of Milos is famous for its surreal coastal landscape indented with caves, colourful volcanic rock formations and magnificent beaches shelving into turquoise coves – just perfect for couples celebrating a honeymoon. Inland sit picturesque villages of sugar-cube houses and whitewashed windmills. It was on Milos (pronounced mee-loss) that the famous statue of Aphrodite of Milos was discovered in 1820. While the original (re-named Venus de Milo) is displayed in the Louvre museum in Paris, you can see a copy of the statue at the Archaeological Museum in Plaka, the main town of Milos. During the day you can explore the narrow, picturesque alleyways of Plaka, with traditional Cycladic architecture of whitewashed houses with blue doors, shutters and windows, and balconies overflowing with colourful flowers. You can also enjoy scenic views from Plaka’s hillside location and visit the remains of a hilltop Frankish castle, the 13th century Byzantine Church of Thalassitras and the extensive early-Christian catacombs at nearby Tripiti, which were built underground during Roman times. Nearby sits an ancient Roman amphitheatre, a hidden gem to be discovered. Another fascinating place that you can visit is Sarakiniko beach. In Sarakiniko, the landscape is from another world: The volcanic eroded Rocks penetrate into the emerald-colored sea creating small and big caves, all-white rocks in mesmerising shapes enclose the cove. Get lost in the deep blue of the Aegean and feel nature embrace you. In Plaka you can also marvel at the most breathtaking sunset of Greece. In a hilltop restaurant you can have a romantic dinner with magnificent views to the sun diving into the Aegean sea.

Day 3: Exploring the beaches of Milos

Today you can have a tour with your hire car around the island exploring its traditional villages and its sandy beaches. The beaches of Milos, some of the most beautiful in the Cyclades islands, are surrounded by colourful volcanic rock formations and shelve into clear emerald green waters. With more than 75 beaches to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Palaiochori, Papafragas, Gerontas, Firiplaka, Tsigrado, Plathiena. Yellow, orange, red and dazzling white rock formations are even more vibrant against the background of turquoise waters. Milos’ volcanic soil has created a sight beyond one’s imagination. If you prefer not to drive you can optionally (with an extra cost) take a full day boat trip with a catamaran sailing boat exploring the magnificent cave of Kleftiko and most of the beaches and caves along the west coastline of the island. During the boat trip you will swim in the transparent turquoise waters of the natural bay of Kalogries, you will admire the amazing landscape of rocky formations created by the volcanic lava, you will snorkel at the secret hideouts of the pirates in Kleftiko and Sykia caves, you will pass by the traditional fishing villages of Skinopi, Klima, Areti and Fourkovouni with the colorful little houses-called "sirmata" and you will enjoy a tasteful barbeque on board or on the beach with grilled seafood.

In the morning you will take the boat from the port of Milos to the island of Naxos. When you reach the port of Naxos you can pick up your hire car and drive to your hotel, which is situated close to Agios Prokopios beach. From Agios Georgios and Agios Prokopios down to Mikri Vigla and Alyko, all these beaches have crystal water and soft sand. Some are organized, while others are totally remote. In the evening you might want to explore the main town of Naxos, Chora, and its Medieval Venetian Castle. Naxos is an island full of gorgeous and serene corners. From the sunset at Portara and the strolls at the atmospheric Chora to the villages and stunning beaches you will definitely find the spots to celebrate your love every minute you spent on the island.

Day 5: Tour around Naxos

Today you can explore some of the most charming and lesser known villages of Naxos island with your hire car. The authentic mountainous villages in the centre of Naxos island are true gems. Apiranthos, Halki, Filoti and Potamia are the most picturesque villages in the centre of Naxos, surrounded by wonderful green nature and keeping an original character away from tourists. You might also want to visit the Temple of Demeter, goddess of grain, a short walking distance from the village of Ano Sangri. This temple was originally constructed in the 6th century BC and restoration works are continued till today. A small Christian chapel of Saint John is found next to the ancient temple. During your tour you can also explore the giant kouroi, Naxos’s most impressive sculptures. They are one of the most popular attractions on the island. Colossal, half-finished statues of young men – Archaic kouroi – they have been resting for eons in the same spot, one in a garden at Melanes, the other overlooking the coast at Apollona. You can also optionally choose the suggested activities with an extra cost: - You can take a day cruise to visit the small island of Delos, a unique ancient city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the famous cosmopolitan island of Mykonos. Even though Delos is one of the smallest islands in the Aegean, it was the most famous and sacred of all islands in antiquity, since, according to the legend, it was there that Apollo-Helios, god of daylight, and Artemis-Selene, goddess of night light, were born – it was, in short, the birthplace of Light, which the Greeks always regarded as precious. You will have 3 hours to explore this magnificent ancient site. Later you will continue the boat tour to Mykonos island, where you can walk through the beautiful streets, visit the famous “Little Venice” and enjoy a stroll through the shops on the island. - You can have a full day sailing cruise to Rina Cave and Kalados bay or the neighboring islands of Koufonissia, where you will enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. - You can also enjoy a scuba diving experience, have a windsurfing or kitesurfing lesson or discover the islands countryside and sandy beaches during a horse riding tour.
