In the Footsteps of Great Travellers
For many centuries Greece has been a destination linked with ancient Greek civilization and the love for Ancient Greek art and culture.
From the 17th century and onwards many foreign travellers, mostly writers and artists, were coming to Greece with the dream to “touch” the beauty of ancient monuments and to enjoy Greece’s light and nature. Through their journeys and their writings they discovered a different Greece and shared with us their own view and experience of the country.
In our Literary Trips we follow on their footsteps to see through their own eyes the most fascinating sites and monuments of mainland Greece.
